My Testimony

This remedy was given to me by my grandmother, and it was passed down to her from her grandmother before her. When my grandmother shared it with me, she said, “This is for Kenya only.” That is why I named it Kenya’s Remedy.

As a child, I was often very sick. At a young age, I developed lung complications that caused recurring pneumonia and scarlet fever. I spent much of my childhood in and out of the hospital, sometimes missing weeks or even months of school. My schoolwork had to be sent to me while I was hospitalized.

Growing up in the 1980s, missing school felt like missing a huge part of childhood. My classmates and teachers would send me “get well soon” cards and small gifts, which meant so much to me. Their kindness helped lift my spirits, but I still felt like I had so much to catch up on every time I returned home. It was a very difficult season in my life.

Everything changed one afternoon when I was about 10 years old. My grandmother came over and handed my mother a homemade syrup she had prepared just for me. She said it might help. I began taking one teaspoon daily for a few weeks, and then only as needed whenever I felt under the weather.

From that point on, I was never hospitalized again for lung issues. I never experienced pneumonia or scarlet fever again.

Now, I want to be very clear — this is not a miracle syrup. Over the years, I have still experienced normal things like allergies or headaches. However, I have never again had serious lung complications or been hospitalized for pneumonia or scarlet fever after beginning my grandmother’s remedy.

While I was still young, my grandmother taught me how to prepare the syrup myself so I wouldn’t have to wait for her to make it. As a child, I even added my own small twist to make the taste more inviting from a kid’s perspective. To this day, I continue to prepare it the same way.

I gave this remedy to my own children as they were growing up, and now that they are adults, they still use it to help support their overall wellness.

For many years, I debated whether I should share this with the world because it was originally given specifically to me. But I couldn’t ignore how much it helped me, and I began to feel that something so meaningful should be shared with others who might benefit from it.

I am not a doctor. I am simply sharing a homemade remedy that was lovingly passed down through generations in my family — one that made a significant difference in my life.

If you choose to use it, take one teaspoon daily during times when you’re feeling under the weather. Once you feel better, you can take it as needed — whether that’s once a week, once a month, or whenever you feel your body needs support.

The shelf life ranges from six months to one year when properly stored.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. It is very close to my heart, and I share it with love and sincerity. My hope is simply that it may help you the way it helped me.
